AHA honors four hospital volunteer programs

The AHA on May 8 will present its Hospital Awards for Volunteer Excellence to four extraordinary programs for their positive impact on patients, hospitals, health systems and communities. The recipients are: “Camp Charlie,” Abington-Jefferson Health, Willow Grove, PA; “AOMC Poison Prevention Program,” Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY; “Friends of the Heart,” Doylestown (PA) Health; and “Hospital Elder Life Program,” Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.
