Hospitals see employment climb by 0.17% in March

Hospital employment rose 0.17% in March to a seasonally adjusted 4,808,600 people, the Bureau of Labor Statistics recently reported. That's 8,100 more people than in February and 102,600 more than a year ago.
Without the seasonal adjustment, which removes the effect of fluctuations due to seasonal events, private hospitals employed 4,801,500 people in March – 9,300 more than in February and 102,800 more than a year ago.
The nation’s overall unemployment rate fell by 0.1 percentage point in March to 8.2%.
